What mileage is your Range Rover Classic on?

My '93 K LSE has done 103k and (touch wood!) is still running nicely. Had a new viscous coupling and OSF drive shaft earlier in the year and sailed through the MOT with no issues. Can't beat it for bringing a smile to my face every time I start her up!!:crazy_driver:

    RRC LSE lost all drive

Thanks guys; was on-road driving at the time. When setting off had to apply more revs than would usually and once it had got into 3rd it drove happily at 45 to 60. Slowed down into 40, then 30 zone and felt unsteady as if it was having to rev more than it should; pulled away from roundabout...

    RRC LSE lost all drive

Evening all; not the best of days really, for my '93K RRC LSE. Drove 2 miles up the road and arrived home on the back of a recovery truck nearly 2.5 hours later, lost all forward and reverse drive. Selecting D (or lower gears) or R and trying to drive it results in an almost metallic whirring...

RR 4.2 V8 LSE non starter

Just a quick update; turned out to be the battery in the end, not holding enough power. All fine now and thanks again for the advice. :car:

RR 4.2 V8 LSE non starter

Thanks for the tips; fully aware of the need to start in park but appreciate the heads-up. The RR was previously owned by an independent, although sadly not too local. Got a mate who knows a thing or two about these but sadly away at the moment. Cheers

RR 4.2 V8 LSE non starter

Hi; finally purchased a RR Classic and loving every minute. '93k with 103k miles and solid history .... even got the original 'tax applied for' disc. Anyway went to fire her up this morning and nothing; a slight click initially then nothing at all when I tried again. Left it for a few minutes...
