    Winch wire broke

Hi Folks, I was out playing at the weekend and the winch cable gave up the ghost. Could anyone tell me where to get a replacement wire or, having seen others at the weekend, winch cord/rope alterative? Thanks Julian.

Hi folks, The heating in my Landy is, to say the last, not so hot...with the lever set at the bottom, it takes a while for any sort of heat to emerge and, when it does, it ain't that hot...any ideas on fault / solution please, pretty please. BR Julian.

    Tyre Advice Requested

Cheers Matt. My ideal would be a set of ATs for normal use and a set of stonking mud tyres for some of the sites I intend to visit but, at the moment, I have only one set of wheels. Given that I will, 99% of the time, only use the vehicle for off-roading once or twice a month, I will probably...

    Holes in footwells

Good morning all, I took my "new" 90 wading on Sunday and discovered some holes in the footwells. Would you please let me know the best method of covering them, or whether new footwells are easy to fit (and if so, how much do they cost and how to fit them). Also, can chequerplate act as a...

Hi all, My "Alexandria" came with BF mud boots (as seen in the picci). I have a friendly Quik Fit in Chichester that, for the cost of a couple of beers, will change boots for me while I wait. I am keen to receive recommendations on what boots on wheels to purchase for everyday use (including...

    Swaying whilst driving

Good morning All, I have just bought (yesterday) a 1988 Defender 90 200Tdi with new MOT, 3" suspension rise, snorkel, sliders etc, plus BF mud tyres. Driving my beastie (now called Alexandria) home, she seems, from time to time, to sway...this was, to say the least, most disconcerting. My...
