You don't have the nut to full em oil.. I went through a load of diffs looking for a set that would fit. Ended up with 72 range rover diffs. S straight swap. Oil nut is on it. The only difference was the ratio was slightly higher so no need for an overdrive. Not easy to come by but I dare say...

All sorted now. The feed into the pump wasnt in straight so wasnt all the way in so was letting air in. I had to loosn the pump to get the pipe in straight. Now works a treat. Cheers

would Lucas Engine Oil Stop Leak help. it does claim to, but does it take 500 miles before it has an effect? or, would using STP engine flush be better. this one goes in before I change the oil so I assume it works pretty fast. p.s. keep the tips coming in please
