My old 110 that had 33s and a D2 box used do 35mpg easily enough on a run once wasn't all 70-80mph motorway speeds. Even towing my driftcar to the track, it used manage 25-27mpg on the trip. The taller transfer box ratio makes a massive difference!

Just to to tie this one up :) Changed the loom for another one. Plugged it in and started up straight away with crank speed on the live data straight away :cool:

Checked it earlier and yup! Reading 0rpm on the live data so obviously crank sensor or the loom going to it is in trouble :)

Yup, realised after I was getting mixed up which section the injector loom was on. Will swap the section and see and hopefully it sorts it. Annoying that is killed two ECUs of course!

Thanks! Yea, it definitely seems like a loom issue although would have thought the issue would be in the part with the black ecu plug and plug to the injectors. Being a Discovery of course, swapping the section of the loom that has the black plug on it is abit of a pita as it goes in behind the...

I've had 1.2s with 33x12.5s on one of my 110s and it was perfect and that was with alot of towing too. Fact it was a 200bhp/450Nm TD5 helped however :D

It was bad wiring from lads messing with it before. There was no power coming through the permanent live so wasn't too bad once figured it out :)

Doing a few bits on a friend's 110 at the moment and it's indicators or hazards aren't working. With ignition on and hazard switch in the on position, indicators will work fine alright. Anybody any ideas as it has my stumped lol

Just put it together quickly on a engine I've out on the ground to make it handier to see :) One I've done for the Defender is abit neater and tidier but this just to show how it works on the pipes. For a Discovery, I'd go with a flexible hose on the regulator side too due to engine being tight...
