Hi Chaps, I recentely replaced the turbo in the gaylander, have done the usuals, intercooler, hoses, oil/filter change, replaced the filter element in the crankcase breather assy but still i got smoke... starts ticks over a treat will tick over have throttle held at 3k no smoke..jump in it...

Does anyone know anything about the new bmw breather assy for the m47 engine? i understand they have completely done away with the little bog roll filter in the cam cover now...mebbe a trip to pick a bmw techs brain i feel

Yes the intercooler was cleaned out with white spirit and hoses were all wiped through to ensure residue from old turbo failure had gone.
