    Hi Dave, thanks for the answer! Possibly. Short of bad spark plugs (which I've already told the seller to be so kind to check for :)), are there known causes with RR's? Anyroad, means I am right it is not normal, and that at idle, sitting inside with bonnet closed just by hearing/feeling...

    Hmmm, another question for those experienced... As I am reading on the car, it seems '96 Range Rovers could be prone to the Porous Engine Block problem. Any way to check before I buy the car? Thanks for any info!
