OK so 30mm spacers it is then! Thanks for all your advice, unfortunatly it seems like a minefield getting some alloys for my 90. So the classic range rover was called a p38? And alloys that fit this or the disco 1 will be the correct fitting for my landy WITH spacers?

forgive my lack of understanding, is 'FREESTYLE' a make or a specific universial size? I'd prefer to fit them straight on without spacers and have seen some on ebay.... landrover defender freestyle alloys on eBay (end time 10-Dec-10 18:15:16 GMT) and LAND ROVER DISCOVERY FREESTYLE ALLOY...

Am I right in thinking that If I'm looking at defender alloys then they must be from a pre 1990 model then as the newer ones had the disc brakes?

Thanks again for your helps guys. So to recap. I should look for disco 1 alloys and then buy some spacers for them but not the cheap flat ones?
