Hi my names Dan, thought I'd come and say hi, I've got a 2001 Freelander TD4 ES auto in Epsom green. Already had to use the site for sorting out a split intercooler pipe :lol: but all is fixed and car is working well.

Panic over :) just fired it up again it was running fine, no more black smoke unless I put it into sport mode and floor it lol :lol:

Do I just remove the MAF altogether and then start up the car? I'm a bit new to all this lol :lol:

Hi there I'm new to the site. I've got a 2001 Freelander TD4, we had it a couple of weeks now and all is good, well that is till now lol. Basically we started hearing a wind noise from the engine bay, then it starting throwing out black smoke, now I've taken off the intercooler pipe...
