    Many thanks to both of you . I resorted to Busters solution and surgically removed the bolts with an angle grinder and poked thro. Meccano was never this much fun as a Kid [ and you get to move it occassionally when it lets you!!!!!!!!!!!!] Thanks guys

    Roof lining / headliner - pimp my landy!

    What about lining it in thin ply ,drilling small holes and injecting expanding foam, then plug the holes? I would first screw in a clip cover type electrical conduit from front to back to carry any future wiring.
