Wow....Well done. Looks like a serious improvement to the original. Would you wire it direct through a relay to the original 2 stage switch or would you use a resistor setup with say a 4 stage switch for serious airflow when required?

Thats interesting. I must look for it on my setup. A previous owner did the double up mod on my matrix and it makes a huge difference in heat output. The problem is it just doesn't come out fast enough with the crappy blower. I've seen a few old posts on here recommending an ebay 4" bilge blower...

Hi all. Hope you are all keeping well in these most difficult times.....I have a question about my heater blower unit. With the 2 stage switch, it blows from very slowly to slowly. I'm sure it's working as designed but it's pathetic compared to the blast from my other halves Renault Megane...

Police spec on Paddocks site are showing 285.50 lbs/in :o The red/white are standard heavy duty rears and are rated at 170 lbs/in so, I think 2 sets for front and rear to cope with the extra weight of the Mazda lump.

Thanks all....I am running a Mazda 3.5 SLTI so was thinking rear red/yellow springs on the front also to cope with the Mazda's weight. Anyone have any thoughts or experience with this kind of extra weight on the front and how to decide which springs to use? Thank you all again.

I am in the process of rubbing down for paint and the bump strips are in the way for flatting the curved edge pressings behind them. Thanks Bobsicle. That is really very helpful. I didn't know that Dulux trade paint and DIY paint was so different in quality. You learn something new everyday. Would you recommend a water based gloss for the top coat or something cellulose?....You obviously have great knowledge and experience...

Were those rollers foam or microfibre. I can't decide on which ones to use. Great job on your 2A. It looks very nice and I would be more than happy with a similar paint finish on mine.... Cheers.

A lot of helpful info there. Thanks for that. I was planning on using coach paint from paintman which I believe is made especially for Brush/Roller hand painting techniques. I am not looking for a spectacular finish. Just something acceptable which would be a huge improvement on the current...

Nothing spectacular but something tidy if possible. I have been looking at coach paint in high gloss Lincoln Green which looks nice.....

Thank you for that Ratae…..Some very helpful info there although bar thickness would help so as I can make a comparison with the springs I am currently running on. There are so many options. Makes getting my choice right such a daunting task....
