    Try Elephant.co.uk and screentrade. Also a tip for everyone here, when getting a quote on elephant put your father as a named driver, knocks about £50 off the quote!

    make sure you shop around for quotes! Every time mine is up for renewal i always spend about 1 1/2 - 2 hours trying different places. I tend to save myself about £70 from the renewal quote. Its a right pain filling all them forms in, but insurance company's hope you cant be bothered to shop...

    you could always just get a parent to insure it for you, and you go as a named driver for a couple of years. You dont get any no claims in your own name but at least you can get out. I did that until i was 21 then i got my own insurance.

    I noticed over the weekend that one of my Swivel housings is leaking oil all over the tire. Since im going to be stripping the housing down to repair this, should i also replace most of the stuff under there? By that i mean, wheel / swivel bearings, break cylinder, and other gaskets or seals...
