Thanks for the advice guys, but as you can see from the thread it was sorted. The ignition barrel was locked because of the immobiliser/electrics not working due to the battery being dead... A jump start sorted it all. :)

Sorted. Something must have been left on and was draining the battery very slowly over the last couple of weeks (and I've not been using it much). A jump start and a battery check later courtest of the AA and all is good. Well apart from the Air con fan not blowing... but that's for another...

if only... I'll double check but the side bars/hangers are fully molded with no gaps. The new hanger does indeed have a cunning little gap though.

Have you tried the one for the 'rear electric seats'? Sounds daft but that's what the books lists it as although my HSE doesn't have them yet has the fuse. I couldn't work out why the drivers visor lights were not working and it was resolved when I replaced that fuse... Could well be its...

Hi, I need to remove the bracket for the side bars on my L322. How easy is this to do as I cant see an obvious fixing point for it? Thinking of popping it into a small local garage as im sure it must be straight forward when you know how... Cheers in advance. M.

Thanks Ray, Really appreciate the feedback. The canterbury one is not too far from me so I'll be sure to give them a try. Someone in the Tenterden area would be ideal as I could leave my truck with them whilst I was at work so think I'll also have to keep exploring in this neck of the woods...
