    cheers for the help khryztal, oil levels spot on and it does make a difference hot or cold. took the surround of today and gave it a good clean but didnt help. better get looking on ebay i suppose.....

    Hi all, my 1997 DSE Auto has a very stiff gear lever, which isnt too bad between P-D, but is nearly impossible to move any further down towards 1. it is the same in high or low range, but has no trouble moving between the two. i have heard it could be the cable being kinked and rubbing...
