hi everyone iam on to ask if any one has done the a 200tdi engine swop in to a 2.5 petrol chassis is it a hard swop or is it pretty easy is there any thing i need to look out for. many thanks all you great people

Thanks. To be honest that is the plan - we are looking for a good base with a good engine and plan to treat the underside and build her up to our spec. Its going to be a big job but hey at least me and the fella can do it together!

So what if you use the original chassis get it Galved and put back on the motor? Technically that isn't a replacement but you could loose all the ID numbers on it in the process.

Thanks for the info. I was just wondering if people tend to remark the Galvanised items. We have the old numbers from the original Chassis (well would if we buy it) lol
