    I was given a replacement for relay 6, but it seems not to work, I swapped one of the other relays with the same code, but that also seems not to do the job. Any other ideas?

    Thanks for the advice, the top of the tailgate is indeed fine. I was wondering if there is a relay that would sort me, just not sure since it doesnt mention anything in the manual.
