    Okay checked batteries - both above 3.2 - connections inside unit seem good but still no led. When locked with the key does the imobiliser on a 1995 version activate or does it need the key fob. I understand it does not have the coil on the ignition barrel as they were not introduced until 1996.

    Key unlocks the door - in fact all doors and boot. No errors on dash except for sunroof - which i will reset once it stops raining here in cumbria.... were going to rename it rainbria.... Will check volts now.

    Okay had the back off again checked the contacts all okay - but still not little red light.... am I looking at a new fob here?

    Hi Nathan - batteries where replaced last night - when the seller was trying to get them to work for me. Hi Wammers tried both buttons - checked the contacts all seem okay - I think I may be looking at a new remote - we will see. Regards Peter

    Gav silly question - does the led light on the fob when pressed - mine is doing nothing. I am not locked out and the car starts on the key with no error messages except the sunroof needing setting - so I am assuming the quick resync of holding the lock button when locking should get it working...

    Thanks Guy I think I can live with the passenger mirror dip - but the drivers side one may need to change if the wife cant get a decent view (not that she will be driving it much if I have my way). I will try and sort a parking sensor of eblag.

    Thats why I bought LPG - but hey you got to go where the work is and since a big 4x4 saved my life three weeks ago - I thought I had better have a replacement with the insurance money after my shogun lost the argument after a hgv decided to run me off the road - hence the rangie.
