    Just to let you guys know that I had both the crank case and cam shaft sensors replaced today and all seems to be working fine now:) Diagnostics never managed to find any faults because we could never get it to fail while at the garages so we decided replacing both the sensors was the best...

    Thanks mate, sounds about right. I took the car back to them on Friday and insisted they fix it asap and they have (reluctantly) agreed to this. I'll post up the outcome when done:)

    Well my wallet is £50 lighter and I'm no further forward..... Took it to my local Land Rover Dealer and they did a full diagnostic and found no faults, they started and stopped the car all day and said there was no fault to fix. Drove home, turned off the engine, tried to start it and you...

    Starter motor sounds fine, battery is healthy and will turn the starter over forever and a day (or so it seems) but it just won't fire when the engine is warm:mad: OK, it looks like I'm snookered so I'll take it into a local specialist tomorrow and let you know how I get on:(
