thanks for your replies the wheels are 18"hurricanes and the tyres are general grabbers(quite chunky)so this might be contributing to the wandering.I have been told that anti roll bars could be a factor too(any thoughts greatly received)cheers

hi could anyone tell me why my p38 seems to wander, i have just done 400 miles (mostly motorway) and i was having to correct the steering all the time. i have just fitted monroe adventure shocks all round which has improved the ride slightly.could the steering rack or damper be the problem?thanks.

sounds like another re-learn, the becm(under drivers seat) is not communicating with the ecu(behind the battery)you will probably have to have a auto electrician sort it out unless the eka will reset it (i had to have the electrician)hope this helps.

make sure the sounder is plugged in (it is behind the battery)i unplugged mine because it was going off every night and it is not quiet(ask the neighbours)maybe the previous owner had the same idea.hope this helps.

hi could anyone let me know which are the best shocks for a 96 dse on airbags.i am not sure if mine are k-nacked only it seems to roll like a boat,it is my first rr so i dont really know how it should handle. any help would be appreciated.

the problem with the rf receiver is it picks up stray signals from mobile phones,wi-fi broadband etc there is an uprated box from l/r(150quid) but i cut my aerial wire(single blue) down to approx 3" this disconnects it from the window but still give it enough signal for the keyfob to work.the...

i'm not to sure but easystart would try and fire purely because you are squirting it into the air intake and by-passing the fuel pump but this sounds a bit drastic. it should cost 50-80 quid to have a diagnostic done depending on how far he would have to come, it took mine five minutes to sort...

it may need a ecu re-learn done by a autoeletrician .seems to be very common at the moment.make sure your rf receiver is not picking up stray signals which seem to be upsetting the immobiliser system.check out some other threads about this.(i had hair before mine start doing this) hope this helps
