Update; İ discovered there is a cooling fan located in the ECU compartment. This fan had seized and i replaced the motor. Fan works now. İ plugged my original ECU back and drove car for a good 30 mins (usually enough to trigger the problem) havenr had the fourth gear slip. İ wouldn't have...

Hi Andy and thanks for your reply. İ have checked connectors and all seems fine. İ did notice a bent pin on the original ECU checked it and it was earth. Straightened it and no change. My issue is possibly more electronic than mechanical as the internals of the jatco have been checked the valve...

Hi all, I have swapped over the Trasmission Conrtol Module on my Freelander and it spits out F4 error code otherwise drives fine. Do these boxes require programmingf? If so how can this be acheived? Thanks, Musa.
