hey from coleraine, NI, just getting myself a 1991 defender county so was hoping to find out about stuff on the land rover life

hey, just getting a 1991 defender county, and was wondering what people know about putting a snorkel on, as from what i can gather there doesn't seem to be a vent thing where i can put one. would i have to cut it out at all? and anyone know anything about 1991 Tdi models i should look for?
