L405 Enabling/Coding in Timed Climate for FBH with JLR SDD

What a faff, just to keep this thread updated. I installed 165 in a VM in an already win10 laptop and it was all going fine, it got half way through downloading the asbuilt files anddddd ran outside of space haha. I’ve now fitted a larger ssd to the laptop and installing win10 pro as I type...

L405 Enabling/Coding in Timed Climate for FBH with JLR SDD

Thank you, I think I'll have to pretend to understand that... I'll have a go though... So when you edit the the CCF, it wipes the current software/config off and when you make the changes you want to the CCF in SDD, it makes them in the latest most up to date version of software that has been...

L405 Enabling/Coding in Timed Climate for FBH with JLR SDD

Yep I installed that and installed just the VCredit thingy at the bottom of the helper first. Then Installed V165 > Patch 1. Opened SDD and used credentials given to login > Closed SDD > Patch 2 > Installed Mongoose Drivers with Cable. Rebooted. Now downloading the calibration and asbuilt...

L405 Enabling/Coding in Timed Climate for FBH with JLR SDD

Looks like it's working. woop woop. Appears to be about 6600 files to download, does that seem correct? I haven't yet connected to the vehicle or put in the Vin yet, I went straight to the asbuilt and calibration download...

L405 Enabling/Coding in Timed Climate for FBH with JLR SDD

I am in the process of installing 165 on a Win10 VM. I just followed the instructions I got with the cable from a UK Seller hence why I thought I had to install it on Windows 7. After much reading, looks like you now need 165 on a Win10 machine but the patches still work...apparently. Will...

Unfortunately it's not working, I have done this but when I plug it into the other PC it says error no file to download. Should this still be working on v164? I've just read I might need 165 on a windows 10 machine and not a windows 7 machine?

Thank you. I can’t seem to download the asbuilt and calibration files. It says I can do it via another PC using usb. Will that be ok?

L405 Enabling/Coding in Timed Climate for FBH with JLR SDD

Omg thank you so much! I’ll get this done. Do you know what needs editing in the ccf to enable the timed climate? when I edit the ccf how long does it take to program the car? As I’ll likely only do this one ‘mod’ I’ll have my other car running connect with jump lead’s whilst it programs...
