    It could still be driveshaft......but I'll try and change the other bearing first. Also noticed tonight, the N/S brake is much much hotter than the O/S brake........wondering if the caliper is sticking on. Will try and strip the caliper apart this week as well.

    Hi all. I've just picked up a 2010 Freelander 2, 2.2 GS. To cut a long story short, it sounded like the front N/S wheel bearing was on the way out. Nothing below 25mph, but then a "rubbing" noise from what sounds like the front left, which increases in time with speed wheel speed. Turn left...
