I would take a look at the transmission, if the problem occurs only on drive and reverse. With sounds like that you should be getting some error codes so you should definitely check them out.

I tried this: Only a small amount of water came out, less than in the video. Tried to blow the rest of the drain open, not sure if it worked, but I guess we'll see the results in the coming days.

I keep air con on all year around and still the windows have gotten foggy randomly these past couple of weeks. Will have to look for possible leaks, would be great if somebody could point me to "normal" failure points of FL2.

A broken battery can also have symptoms like this. What's the voltage on the battery and how old is the battery?

How much was the turbo actuator? I believe the actuator in mine is also defective and needs replacing, but not that many place sells it. I could get a new turbo with new actuator for about 700€ and the replacement works separately.

I would probably look for clogs in the catalytic converter, DPF and intake manifold. Clogged catalytic converters gave me same symptons, but in a petrol BMW.

I have a fault code P0801, reverse inhibit control circuit malfuction. I'm going to replace the reverse sensor and see if that fixes the issue.

I replaced the two boost hoses from intercooler to throttle body. They seemed to be fine, I'm hoping to find the boost hose from turbo to be broken as it would explain at least some of the symptoms my TD4 is having. I'll have time to replace it on Wednesday, hoping it will be a lot easier than...

I mean, the gearshift extends to the side so much it would be possible to switch to reverse just by pulling the gearshift back. I believe it is not supposed to do that normally.
