Still got a problem 🤬 still got a vacuum on the bleed screw I’ve cut 5mm off the bottom of the pick up pipe seems to have worked so far. It’s now pumping fuel out of the bleed screw off for a test drive via the pub so if it does pack up at least I can drown my sorrows 😂😂🤞🤞🤞🤞

Yes I thought so I’m getting hardy any fuel coming out when I hand pump it as it’s probably on the wrong place on the cam, but when the engines running I’ve got plenty of fuel coming out

I’ve seen on here that you can fit the lift pump wrong side of the cam? I have just unbolted the old one and put the new one in and tighten it up is that correct?

No it’s just one unit sender is half way up the pick up pipe I’m going to start again tomorrow morning and go through everything SLOWLY ONE THING AT A TIME. 🤞🤞

Hi Steve yes I’ve replaced them one was a bit old but doesn’t seem to make a difference

Next thing to do tomorrow as we have gone through everything else it’s always the last thing you check hopefully I’ll find something tomorrow morning will keep everybody posted

Hi Steve thank you for your message I’ve put an external tank on the system with a in line filter and it runs fine. Going to get some clear pipe tomorrow morning and start working from the tank backwards to the injection pump hopefully that will show me where the air is coming in I’ve replaced...

Hi all today I have fitted a new lift pump new pipe work took out the plastic spacer and replaced it with 3 gaskets as per the video I removed the drain plug on the fuel tank and noticed that the diesel was not coming out very fast removed the filler cap out came the fuel! Then I had a thought...
