Doesn’t sound like what I would think sloshing would be as it’s a dull thud/sound. Would expect it to be a swish/slosh sound given it’s in liquid form.

Also wanted to ask related to fuel tank, currently on half tank and noticed this previously but every time I apply the brake, i hear a dull noise at the rear of the car, almost like a rocking noise at the rear which is where I think the fuel tank is. Noise doesn’t happen when it’s on full tank...

I have it booked in for the new year for both belts. Quoted around the £650 mark all in which I thought isn’t too bad.

i have my timing belts that will need doing in the new year. Assume that isn’t covered under warranty?

Oh no that’s just £450 to inspect the car and see it doesn’t have any faults and then if it passes their tests then it would be an additional cost for their warranty package which I think is in excess of £1000 plus. Apologies I didn’t explain it well above

Haha no ageism from me. Mid-50 years young I meant 😜 Is it the same on the L494 as well re enough in the tank? Never heard of that before but wow what a dream! 😂 Will try to be sensible as one can be but very hard not to press the metal when the opportunity arises!

How did you know?? 😂 Yes, they were a couple in their mid-late 50s and using it locally mainly, I think. That’s useful to know, that there is still some fuel left over.

So all normal then for a Range? When you say run the tank dry, do you mean bring the range miles to near zero or do you mean 10 litres is always remaining as a backup when you get to zero? Appreciate the cold temperature has an effect.

Hi, First timer on the forum. I have a RRS 2016 3.0D Autobiography and recently purchased in August and have noticed when I go to fill up on a full tank, the maximum it fills up currently is around 76 litres which I know is 10 litres short than the official capacity of 86 litres. Any ideas...
