Yep just taken the fuel filter off, what a mess had totally collapsed and broken in to several pieces. Will fit a new one tomorrow and try again. Typical did a service including timing belt, diff and gear oils but never got round to changing the fuel filter.

Got the same problem with mine, i think i have a week spring on the front. Getting new shocks and springs fitted next week so will let you know if it makes a difference.

Update No2... Well with no obvious signs of a major fault decided to put it back together and test... Started no probs just a small amount of smoke which cleared after a few seconds, the usual diesel noise till it warmed up but no more smoke. So off i went on a 10 mile trip with no problems...
