Thanks for that Steve. I did replace the cut clip which seemed too easy, then realised I’d missed out a washer/spacer, so took it apart and reassembled it. Everything was then tight and fitted well, so quite sure the problem lies elsewhere. Seems strange why the problems occurred in the first...
