Right that has taken ages! I put it on a hoist and localised it to some where around the oil pump, pulled this apart and the gears were slightly worn, thought that was it so replaced those but to no avail. I believe it's somewhere in line with the second piston so thinking maybe cam shaft? But...

Hi, yes I know it does seem very strange, The best way I can describe it, is if you think of a clock with hands it "scrapes" on the 9 to 12 as its turning. If it is being affected by revs I certainly cant hear the difference or its not loud enough for me to pick up.
