thankyou dilybi..i hope you show how your getting on with your project (even if its private message) because i'm interested... i've fitted side steps and rear step (so my mrs can get in without a bottle crate), and painted the rear interior, but haven't taken pics yet..

thought i would update on a bit of work done, rebuilt the tailgate , put bench seats in to match the front seats, and put rubber matting down, ( not finished the matting yet ? )

again like i said on the thread, i have had it checked over by a reputable land rover specialist before i even drove it... i don't understand why everyone seams to be against this and not read what i have said in this thread....point is i like the classic look of the series 2a, i also like coil...

well in that case i might as well scrap it then .... i thought someone might like it, i was going to do loads of upgrades to make it my own and thought people on here would like to see the progression in pictures..how wrong was i :(

hi phill, it is early 80s late 70s rangie chassis, and has been professionally shortend to accept the 2a body... i had it checked over by K Brooks land rover specialist in Blackpool.. who told me all the important bits so that i can buy correct parts when needed..he also did the cam belt change...

the whole body ... could you not see the pictures..i might have to post them again if they cant be seen o_O

this is my fun project 1965 series 2a the engine is disco 200tdi gearbox defender chassis and axles from an early 80s range rover knackered seats from a defender 35" simex tyres x5 not sure on the lift so i started on the seats, got a re-trimming kit from exmoor trim, and also bench seats with...

okay..it has a 200tdi disco engine, a defender gearbox, a early range rover chassis and diffs, 35" (simex extreme trekker 2) tyres, pollybushed and lifted.. still loads i want to do though..
