    Hey, thanks for reply.. Yep I know the older halogen ones can't be changed over.. How do I tell the difference between xenon and projector?.. these may well be projector type..they look the same as my D3.. like an opaque ball .. ? I haven't got a user manual for it, are there any links to...

    So my 2013 freelander has xenon headlights.. similar to my 2005 disco 3 When I brought the disco to Spain I flicked a switch in the headlight unit to make them flat beams.. is there similar in the freelander ? If so, anyone got any pics as to where it is or a description of how to find it?
