Many thanks all for the helpful feedback. Very poor design to be on its 3rd prop shaft at 38000 miles and no off-road etc, Got a L/R again but are there are aftermarket ones people have had good experience of ? - or are they just L/R rebuilds ?

Can any members please supply expected life of D4 prop shaft bearings - my 2016 38 K miles appears to again have some wear - previously replaced 4 years ago ?- is this average ? Many thanks

Just about to fit new compressor on 2016 D4 I note the AMK compressor does not have tapped bosses. ( 3 fixings + temperature contact) I am told the fixing screws ( 6 mm parallel threads) are effectively 'self tappers' The boss holes are 5.5 mm. Has anyone experienced any problems with...
