It’s a Defender 90 2007

Help please! I was driving along when there was a sudden jolt. The Speedo and odometer have stopped working. The vehicle is still running but feels like the brakes are on. It is very sluggish and you have to keep your foot almost to the floor to keep it going.... any advice gratefully received
