If you change 08 to 00 it's just changing 8 to 0. LCM is one of the best "dummy stable" modules in RR. But yes, if you change something else in the code don't wondering why you turn signals not work for example.

EEPROM data is a bin file, and edit bin file without knowledge of all algorithms and schemes = 100% something go wrong. The TRC file from NCSExpert contain rows with options "aktiv" and "nicht_aktiv". T4 price is a about 2500 euros, Bosch KTS - from 1500 euros, this is not a cheap diagnostic.

SDD don't work with BMW era RR, T4 work with them, see all sensors, life time data and many many more, but can't do all things that you can do with INPA and NCS on BMW modules.
