Thank you for the advise, I suspected that I'd have to remove the dash top it's selve to do it to be honest. I plan on removing the original foam as it's hard and probably easier to reform the whole thing. Thanks -Maxim

It's got a R380 gearbox and 300TDI so only the small lever, I'll try get some time to grab some pictures, also going to get a friend of mine who knows a lot about them to have a look and see what is actually under there haha

I plan on replacing the seats and seat belts, will probably keep the doors as they are once the broken trim part is replaced.

it was more of a "PTE your doing this, but Sir I am not exactly a good swimmer, well you will learn" that said it was amazing and I would definitely do it again especially now that i can swim alot better.

I am leaving the 300TDI in yes, I am not all that worried about being original as such but a series should look like a series, yeah its got bits from all over the place and as far as I am aware it got 5 gears and I don't know about about the permanent drive ill have to ask, its all kinda hard...
