Thanks. The origninal chassis, engine and body work is intact, so I had it repaired where necessary and Waxoiled. The man who did the work mentioned somehting about it being a Navy specific colour but no more than that.

Hey there, I've got a lovely 1972 Series 3 which is my pride and joy.I intended to have it fully rebuilt and a new paint job done, but I was told that it would be sacrilege as the paint was original and wasn't that common a colour. Can anybody tell me more about this colour? Thanks!
