yeah, but I will say I am no means a mechanic, I brought the vehicle as I enjoy field sports and have used and enjoyed its capabilities.

As far as I can see, the chassis number in the front rhs wheel arch looks as though it has be ground, which I did show to the police.

No engine number on the V5

Is there another chassis number there?

The police have been round and are happy its not stolen, but it is not a series 3. I am assuming I just have to update the V5 with the DVLA now

Can’t see anything there, not sure if it’s galv to be honest. I was told it was but I’m not sure about anything now. number on the front of the dash has been removed, but I was told the body is a 90 from another vehicle, on the series 3 chassis.

Registration date is June 1975. I’ve attached the pic of the engine bay.
