    UV dye sounds like it might be worth a try.........I have a dye left over from when a plumber needed to trace a leak at home. Have to check if its ok to use in a car.

    Pretty sure it was steam and I've also replaced the expansion tank as it was cracked. Thought that would fix it :-(
