Thanks, it has been to 2 different garages one a landrover said it needed a new gearbox. Took it to a gearbox specialist and they said it was an engine problem .Had a new battery to as it was a bit low when checked! Feel like I'm going round in circles spending money and getting no where!

hi I have a 2.7 diesel auto, 05, problem is when accelerating the engine system fault flashes up and the car won't find a gear? any ideas? Thanks

It will power up if engine is put in neutral then back in gear but it will continue to not select gear when dricing again. Not got the fault codes, have a basic reader so will have a look and see what codes that brings up.

Is a 2.7 yes, can't boot it won't select a gear.
