Well that’s why that made no difference then, so am I right in thinking the ecu will store info that only the likes of testbook/nanocom can decipher?

I changed the sensor on the top of the transfer box which I believe is the speed sensor

That would be great, However i’m In a bit of a rush as I’m towing my caravan for a week in the new forest with the family a week from today so really need this sorting ASAP

I’ve used our snap on diagnostics scanner at work but it shows no codes, haven’t had alternator fault crop up and battery has been fine as far as I’m aware

Yeah there are loads of threads saying about the abs but they have the abs light on too and I don’t have that symptom unfortunately

Also it’s a 4.6 if that makes any difference

Hi guys I’m really hoping someone can help me out as I’m stuck, my P38 speedo intermittently stops working and when it does it also stalls when approaching a junction and ends up stuck in 3rd and the gearbox fault displays on the dash, I’m sure all the problems come from having no speed signal...
