Hippo Yes light are affected on both sides, the fault is also seen with lights on auto, I should also point out when the lights Fail (in this I mean I lose high beam but main beam does it's intermittent flicker) it doesn't matter what I do with the light switch off, on , auto they remain on...

Its a 2010 model with the adjuster on a turntable switch to the right of the steering column.
