thanks Nodge i had the vcu and bearings replaced in November with a bell unit checked the diff oil and didnt look to bad but haven't dropped the ird yet as the noise appears to come from the rear but will check tomorrow cheers for the advice

have a issue real with noisy rear diff or wheel bearings having it checked out tomorrow found a firm called winchester gears offering a reconditioned diff with 12 months warranty for £200 on ebay seems quite cheep compared to others has anyone used got any experience of them thanks rich
