Hi all,
I am having to sell my Range Rover Classic Vogue Soft Dash Automatic 300Tdi in Brooklands Green. Happy to end auction early if anyone is interested (message me if you're interested)...
I'm selling on ebay - no reserve. 7 day auction (ends next Friday). PM me if you're interested in it before the auction ends. Located in High Peak, Derbyshire. See https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223591879927
Exactly the same happened to me. I got the bolts out using a bolt extractor tool. https://www.irwin.com/tools/browse/screw-bolt-extractors/bolt-extractors. Get it sprayed with lots of wd40 etc overnight. Once the bolt extractor bites they come off easy, but one was a pain and it broke the...
Don't use OAT (pink/green) in 200/300 tdi. Use the blue ethylene glycol stuff. OAT is used in TD5 engine. If you go to halfords and put in your reg no it should come up with the right one.
There is a drain plug on the 200tdi engine but it's not at the bottom so it will still leave a few litres inside. It's also a.pig to get to so i would do as.advised and drain from the bottom hose of radiator, fill with water, drain and repeat until it.comes.out.clean. Then fill with 50%...

Hi all,
I'm picking up my 1994 RRC on Sunday (as long as the garage have fixed the ABS light problem!) and was after some advice on the best way to protect her from thieving little ****es. Any suggestions?
Cheers
Thinking of buying a 1994 RRC and have found a nice one but want to check if it is stolen/Cat C/HPI etc. Can anyone recommend a good comprehensive online check ?
Cheers
Chris
Thanks for clarifying that Blue Beasty. I didn't know they had changed the Tax to be in line with the MOT - makes sense. I'll have to wait until 2030 for my D1 to be exempt!
The Tax exemption is now a rolling exemption, so when a car reaches 25 years old it will be exempt. As far as I know the new MOT exemption will also be rolling, meaning that when cars reach 40 years old they will be MOT exempt.
