The ratios are fine, it's just the messy changes, mainly between 2 and 3, not decisive, engine takes a while to fall to the speed of the higher gear.

I believe from 2013 on they have same engine and running gear as early evokes, hense my hope that there might be an aftermarket conversion kit i find the 6 speed too vague in 2/3

Hello all, My first post ! I have a 2013 Freenlander 2 SD4, 6 speed auto. I love the model, shape etc but hate the gearbox. Does anyone know of a conversion to the new 9 speed box from the evoke or disco sport? The new shapes do nothing for me, want to keep the FL shape.
