    Got it. I have a spare key somewhere, I need to find it and try it I guess first.? Maybe the receiver went short circuit and flattened the battery? Possibility?

    Don't know any other owners so that's a non starter. I will take more of the liner down and do a better check. I can't help but think it has something to do with the input of the EKA code, seems too coincidental. All these gaggets are great when working but a pain when not. Martin
