Thanks for replies ,as most tyres are borderline i'll keep eyes open for a set of 55's to go on before fitting. The only tyre worth saving is the spare so maybe ebay that once i've got new ones fitted .

As long as all four are the same I presume all that is affected is the speedo reading and the gearing . And the spare not fitting in the well .But knowing these creatures (range rovers ) are fickle things don't know whether it would adversely effect a load of other things ! gone blank do i mean...

Thats what i'd worked out with a page full off mutiplication and pi . the 55 gives nearly the same rolling circumf and the 60 is about 100 mm more . I couldnt find any mention of people changing their tyres when upgrading wheels .
