Ah, that's confusing. It looks threaded.
Mmmn. I'm worried about it now. Any ideas what it could be for? Driving to Devon tomorrow, so paranoid about conking out.
Evening all, I'm trying to track down an oil leak (of course).
Am I right in thinking that the threaded hole I've found unplugged dead centre underneath the r380 is for a wading plug hole, and if so, it's OK to have nothing in it?
I've traced a reasonably messy oil leak back to - guess where - one of the oil cooler pipe to engine joins. To inspect and possibly replace do I need to drain the oil? - ie. will it all start gushing out if I remove? (I'm new to all this!).
I don't really know why but I think I want to avoid a box. Think I'll investigate prices for gabion panels or similar mesh panelling. Possibly topped off with a trailer cover. Was wondering if waffle boards might do a similar job?
So, I'm looking at roof racks and it's all a bit expensive for me at the moment. Plus, especially at the cheap(er) end, they're all pretty heavy leaving very little for actual load.
Would bars, plus some sort of heavy duty wire mesh or box bolted on work? I really only need it for some fairly...
Thanks - I've asked for dimensions from seller and will post definitively here for reference unless anyone knows in the meantime. I'm guessing it would be well documented if it was an option, given price, but fingers crossed, eh?
Hi all - does anyone know if Paddy Hopkirk universal racks will fit a defender, either straight off or with a bit of tailoring?
If so, these look a bargain compared to other stuff I've seen...
Hi everyone, I'm a shockingly naive new defender owner from the southwest- proud/worried custodian of a 1992 90.
Prepare for a series of stupid questions.
Thanks in advance for tolerance, tips and mockery as required.
Cheers, Will
