Hi all after taken my Freelander to get looked at as it was making a tapping noise from the engine. It turns out that the noise was from cyclender number 1 as pistion was moving as it was loose in side. So the answer they have told me is that it will need to be re drilled at a cost of £3,333.60...

Well over two weeks now at the garage still not knowing what is wrong with it. Phoned them up today for a update on it only to be said that the engine is fully taken apart and the maniac has taken and there just wating on him given them a quote.
