i disconnected the MAF to see what would happen car was smoking more than normal so i thought id try MAF unplugged it still runs exactly the same as it did but doesn't smoke Im confused now !!!

so this morning I removed the loom from the car and it looked like this worn and black as can be seen from the second picture one wire has completely worn through so ive repaired that and another that was slightly worn replaced the loom and I still have the same issues.flashing M&S Any ideas...
