Just a quick update. I replaced all fuel lines and put a bulb primer and clear bowl filter in the supply line before the lift pump and all is tickety boo😁😁

Hi yes I have had a fiddle today and fitted a new filter head checked all lines taken pickup out of fuel tank cleaned some bits of crap out of pick up spaced in tank. Initially got great as purt of fuel out of the bleed screw but now back to only half filled filter☹️

Unfortunately I had set off in a borrowed workshop with someone else's welder etc. As I said it was a nightmare 🤣

Well that's what I did with my 3 door but it turned into an absolute nightmare trying to weld thin stuff onto the heavy box section. Also this vehicle spends 90% of its life on tarmac so no real need for jacking off the sills.

Stripped the separator again and still had air. Stripped cleaned and refitted th tank connections and bing no air. Car running much smoother than it ever has and flat out up long hill no stutter. Hopefully that's it

Yes same lift pump filter and sedimeter. I suspect air leak at sediment trap . Will get it over a pit today and potentially bypass the sediment trap until I can get a new unit
