    I have a similar problem, my 2.5 DSE (1999) has just had all the AC renewed, plus a radiator water pump a few hoses however it still overheats on long journey at about 70mph There is no water in the oil, no visual leaks either so I am at a loss now as what to look for, can anyone suggest...

    The gearbox is the original gearbox checked all the plugs, connections etc now wondering if the filter inside is blocked or the pump is weak.... seem to have got so far now and got this problem only.... :mad:
